National Cycle Network

The National Cycle Network celebrates its 15th anniversary in Septemeber 2010 and what better way to celebrate than to open a new cycle route. The Way of the Roses is a ‘coast to coast’ route running 180 miles from Morecambe Bay to Bridlington. The first half of the route cloesely follows the Bentham Line and will be easily accessible to cyclists and walkers from our stations.
